This photo I made literally from my bedroom :-) After about 20 years I finally was able to buy a house near a lake. I cut a hole in the bedroom wall (wooden house) just above the floor, to be levelled with the kingfishers at a small pond I digged in the garden. With an angle finder I lay on my belly to observe and photograph them.
