I took this photo in Kutenai in Georgia.This was a shopkeeper who clearly was not doing good business as the economy in Georgia is not doing well.His small shop just a basement space with just enough room for himself and some goods.
I thought it captured the desolation of people who struggled to make a living.

Solid shot that captures the story you're telling. The darkness in the background gives me the perception of not much behind him to offer. Makes me grateful for how well I have it in the States.
Thanks for the comment Ryan. Yes his shop was pretty basic as were a lot of shops in Georgia. It was clear that life is a struggle for some people.
