This gentleman was playing on the streets of Philly with a sign that read "Homeless in Amerika." I gave him a few bucks and chatted with him and snapped a few shots. Although you would think his situation as a sad one, he was happy to be playing his music and to have a conversation. There was joy and sorrow in the moment. Pure juxtaposition.

This was one of my first street photographs when I first started photography with a Canon Rebel back in 2008. This moment made me appreciate street photography much more.
