I lived in Southern Spain for a year teaching English and during Semana Santa (Holy Week), thousands of people would gather and watch these processionals for 7 days and nights. As you may understand, these processionals were extremely shocking to the American eye, but to them, the hoods represented being closer to God. Every processional has its own unique story and meaning. This was taken in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Fujifilm xt2 56mm
