Two Peace Corps Trainees, and long time friends, commiserate over a cold milk shake as we await evacuation back to the United States. The order to evacuate came suddenly and while we trainees were dispersed across the country en-rout to visit what would have been our homes for the next two years. Instead, after just two months, we were ordered to turn around and sent home in the midst of an emerging global pandemic.
