I'm too late for voting for this competition, but I really struggle to understand how anyone could rate this anything lower than a 3. A clear story, varying emotions, good composition, subject separation. I think the black and white adds to it as well, giving it a more timeless feel, which it will be for this family when their kid grows up - fantastic shot for me! Well done! I'd give it 4 stars.
