This image is from my Air & Water Series of composites and combines images shot in Tennessee. The clouds were shot using a technique I stumbled upon. I shoot the clouds in “incandescent” color space producing a very blue image. Then, when converting to B&W, I pull the cyan and blue channels apart. Then some burning and dodging. It reveals cloud structure I can’t see with my eye.
