This image is a composite from my “Imaginary Worlds” series. It is a composite of Tennessee clouds, Florida water and the flower girl from my daughter’s wedding. The clouds were shot using a technique I stumbled upon. I shoot the clouds in “incandescent” color space producing a very blue image. Then, when converting to B&W, I pull the cyan and blue channels apart. Then some burning and dodging. It reveals cloud structure I can’t see with my eye.

Love the concept, and the composite is very well done. It would be nice to see the girl doing something a bit more interesting however.

Love it in black and white :)
