In Japan last winter it was a very stormy day and snowing and blowing hard, we ventured into the storm is the hopes of finding some deep snow not blown away by the strong winds, in a more sheltered valley full of trees we found the holy grail, light and dry chest deep snow with no tracks in it but ours, heaven amongst a storm of chaos.
