The volcanic coast of Lanzarote in 2018, driving along the coastal road I could see all of these cool rock formations, we pulled into a layby and I found this arch with a low saddle point next to it that the waves broke over. The water in the closest foreground element was interesting to me because the water was coming in from camera left and due to the shape of the rocks it was breaking and spraying almost back on itself.
This is a composite, a time blend (15 seconds apart) for the two breaking wave elements and a sky replacement from the Luminar Power of Nature pack by Bastian Werner. I resized the sky in PS to suit the composition better, then used Luminar to do the replacement. The original sky was a flat featureless grey even after manipulation in post.
