I took this shot shortly after a torrential rain that hit the Great Lakes in Buffalo, NY.
Minutes before I captured this image, the rain was so thick i could barely see 20 feet in front of me. While it was pouring I spent a few minutes of frantic weather app searching to see where and when the storm was moving to. I decided on my location and took my time driving. The weather system was moving fast and as the rain began to let up I was able to see a hint of light growing over Lake Erie from the west.
