Norwegian summer nights are very bright, only dark-ish when raining. This was photographed at 2:35AM last July and these are ghost clouds, or as we call them, summer clouds. The technical name is Cirrus clouds and are the highest clouds we have, and are easiest to see when the sun is low past the horizon, shining up on the clouds. This night they were spectacular. I waited 10-15 min to get the clouds over the bridge with perfect reflection in the water. 6 sec exposure at f13.
