About a year and half ago I had an idea for what I thought would be a quick and easily achievable short-term project. Little did I know that this was not the case and pretty much gave up when I couldn't get any traction with necessary parties I needed to get onboard, until a recent discussion with another photographer - when I resurrected the idea and went and did a test shoot as 'proof of concept'. I got a friend to model for me so I could produce something concrete to show the other parties so they hopefully will be interested in participating in the project.

While my initial idea has changed a little (you can't tell that he subject is sitting in a barber's chair, just having had a shave and trim) I am quite happy with the way this has come out.

The photo was taken with the medium format Fujifilm GFX50R and the manual Mitakon Speedmaster 85mm lens, lit with a single Godox AD400Pro and softbox.

I wish the 1-star voter would at least leave some constructive criticism...
