This is part of a series meant to symbolize the quandary of being explorative, to yearn for adventure yet having to experience everything through a filter of sorts...Like astronauts that can explore space but everything is experienced through a suit, no real genuine touch, intimacy. We may love to travel in heart but due to health, finances, commitments we do so by means of images, movies, etc. Or we travel not where we want to go, but where we CAN go but the important thing is... we keep the fire burning.. Used Liquid Carbon Dioxide ( dry Ice) for the smoke, nearly 100 degrees so had to take shots quick in between setups to prevent dehydration from the model. Much of the suit was home made. Post processing included changing the hue/ tones to to make it appear "less" natural
