"What are we than puppets of our faith?"

This is a personal project I wish to continue this summer/fall. I was inspired by the movie "The Witch" by Robert Eggers and wanted to create a concept where young couple is struggling with their fate after unfortunate events.

Shot in the oldest building in my home town, a stone church from the 1500s. Under the church there is a crypt that was used to bury the dead until the year 1793. The clothing I borrowed from local theater.

For lighting I used my two trusty Godox AD200. In edit I ended up using the ambient only screens for the location and then used the lit up ones for the couple.

My biggest mistake was not planning the shoot well enough resulting that many images I had in my head never materialized.

Nicely done! Feels like straight out of a movie/tv scene. Love the color tones. Goes perfectly with the scene.

Thank you!
