I was going back to the office from lunch, when Orkan Xavier hit Gdansk with first snow that winter - it was a rapid change of aura. Strong wind, smacking everyone with wet snow. I had my x100s on my shoulder, turned back from that freezing gust and took a shot of a lamp post... then noticed this wider frame, moved bit more to the center and took this one.
Simple BW processing, no masking - just like that. One of my favorite 'street' shots to date.
Really nice shot, and city too :) (I've only been there once, but will hopefully go back sometime in the future)
Thanks! Gdansk center grew a lot in recent years - last weekend I discovered there is so many new places to eat and have fun - looking forward to summer to explore more ;)
