For me, it's a really special image. I took it in 2019 in Slovenia (Lake Bohinj, to be more specific). I started doing photography around 2018 with a rusty, old Canon 450D, and this was my first road trip with my 'new' Canon 5D Mark II. We hiked for three days in the Julian Alps. There is a campsite near Lake Bohinj, and we camped there. I forgot to turn off my camera on the first day, so I ended up with only 20% battery for the next three days (I only had one battery at the time). On the last morning, my friend and I woke up at 4 AM. He loves fishing, so he was doing his thing while I wandered around, taking pictures and enjoying the sunrise. I only had 1% battery left when I got back to him, and I managed to take one last picture before my camera’s battery died. This is the picture. I only managed to check it out when I got home. It's not perfect, but to me, it is—probably one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a great day!
