This photo was taken with a Canon 5D and a Canon 15mm 2.8 Fisheye lens in the Joshua Tree National Park at midnight on 12/29/18. Settings were f2.8, 25 seconds, at ISO 1600. The temperature was 18 degrees and the shutter kept freezing open, frustrating my efforts. This shot was pure serendipity; a car drove past and illuminated the Joshua tree just before the shutter closed. Today, I use a Canon 5DIV with a wide range of Canon lenses.
