This is from our Easter Eve Service at our Coptic Orthodox Church in London.
This is during one of the processions of incense so (you can't see it as it is behind the guy holding the Icon) but the priest is praying while burning incense (not sure what the item is called in English but in arabic it is called a Shurya) and as you can see the church gets very smokey at this time.
I know others wouldn't like the over exposed whit smoke look that I have done with this edit but I like it as in my opinion it gives this heavenly feel to the photo.
There were other pictures I took where the smoke wasn’t covering his face and even some wider shots but I liked his positioning and emotion shown in this shot and the deacon on the right out of focus adding some more colour to the picture (not sure if that makes it worse or not as it might be a distraction from the very white and gold image) but I think it helps frame the priest more
