Running errands in my home town on Long Island (NY), I spotted this group waiting in front of a small building adjacent to a South Asian food processor. They were waiting for a van to pick them up to go home after their shift. With only one or two slight adjustments in position, I took this image using natural light. In post, I desaturated the building and sidewalk to highlight the subjects. I returned the next day and passed out prints of this image to all five. They were very pleased.
