Hi guys,

This photo was taken back in september 2019, in Sochi, Russia with Sony a7r2 (sony 24-105, f4 lens) I walked around the city and i saw some World War 2 memorial and there was this babushka resting, so i sat in front of her. It was very sunny day with harsh light around noon, but she had this very sad and unique face, so i put the camera on my knee and took the photo without disturbing her. I took just one photo and after that her phone ring, she answer and after that she walked away.

For the post processing i used Lightroom and Luminar AI. Because of the harsh light, i had to make this photo in black and white, and the usual stuff like: highlights, shadows, contrast, white, black, clarity, tone curve, sharpening, lens correction, radial and linear gradient, cropping in Lightroom. After that in Luminar AI i used: enhance, structure, details and vignette. Pretty much that is the story of the photo.
