Mark was a reluctant subject. He didn’t really want his picture taken and only did it as a favour to me. This shot was taken in a backroom of his optometrist shop in Queensland, Australia.

A plain black backdrop was set up and the lighting used was a GODOX AD200 Pro Strobe Flash with a Bare-Bulb Head in a Godox 60 x 90cm Softbox plus a white reflector on a stand. The image was captured on a Nikon D780 with Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G @ 52mm f/8.0 1/200th ISO 100. Some light processing was applied using Lightroom.
