A special visitor showed up in our Hopewell Junction garden during the early morning blue hour, bringing four pals along for the adventure. At first, I noticed some rustling in the dim light of my backyard and thought it might be a bigger animal. But when I looked closer, I spotted five raccoons poking around, scavenging for goodies in the shadows under the tall trees. This little guy was the smallest of the crew. I caught this shot right as he looked up and stared straight at me. Taken with my Canon R5, 100-400mm lens at 400mm, f/5.6, 1/50 second, handheld, no flash.
