The sun had just set, and I wanted to show this tranquil coastal scene bathed in soft, pastel light.
The small red boathouse sits atop a smooth, rounded rock island, its roof weathered of years of exposure to the sea air.

A 2 minute exposure with my Nikon Z6_II, 24mm, f13, iso64 and a tripod, makes the calm water mirror the boathouse and the warm hues of the sky, creating a near-perfect reflection.

It seems like a moment of pure stillness in nature, but as we all know, life by the ocean is never actually quiet.
