"Sunrise over the Tennessee"

This moment belonged to the hour & the golden haze. The first light, filtered through a thin veil of fog, blurred the edges of everything it touched, washing colors into each other until the bridge was no longer an object but a ribbon of quiet colors.

Its arches caught the sun like small flames, holding them just long enough to burn into the water. Much of this — particularly along the skyline — was shaped in post with Photoshop, deepening the warmth, drawing out the mist’s soft breath, & giving the sky the weight it carried in memory.

I sat down with a Canon A3000 & waited for the river to tell me its story.

The river was silent; however, every shift in light felt like a change in tone — now tender, now guarded — as if the water was deciding how much truth to share. In that stillness, the world beyond the banks disappeared, leaving only the quiet conversation between sky, the river, & me.

I listened, knowing the story would end soon when the light changed.

I like this image. It gives me an impression of a watercolor painting. Very artistic.
