I took this photo last summer in the Outer Banks of NC. I had gotten up to take some sunrise photos on the beach, but ended up being more captivated watching the sand pipers running along the edge of the water, dodging the waves. Usually I can't get too close to them without scaring them off, but I had just gotten my MC-20 2x teleconverter which, combined with my 40-150mm f2.8 PRO telephoto lens, allowed me to get some fantastic close-up shots of this bird on my OM System OM-1 camera. I loved catching the bird in action, with the gentle sunrise lighting reflected in the water.

I would use software that targets/selects the bird's body and brings that to lighter-life. It is still a solid image. Sorry for the 1-ers on this one. Love the golden light on the bubbles.
