While searching for a subject that evening, I noticed these two sticks in the lake. Since it was a beautiful, warm summer day and there were still lots of people at the lakeshore, swimming or having a campfire, it was a good opportunity to photograph this scene. I stood waist-deep in the water 20 meters from the lakeshore and waited for the sunset. I took the photo with my camera on my tripod, a Kase ND 64, and an ND 0.9 graduated filter to balance the sky, using an exposure time of 30 seconds.
The image was edited in Lightroom by slightly enhancing the shadows, reducing the highlights and sharpening them.
