I was a volunteer photographer for HAART a NGO in Kenya, that helps human trafficking survivors. While accompanying one of the girls who was transitioning from the program to independence, I saw these two street vendors in a heart to heart discussion. I took my camera out and photographed them. They looked so honored to have their world seem important. The difficulties in getting the shot was especially how potentially dangerous small outskirt of Kenya villages can be and having a camera out. After this the energy on the street got so positive and everyone were excited to share their activities in their jobs for me. The little hair salon, the motorcycle delivery person. So many wonderful shots. I shot at f8, 1/125 at 70mm, ISO: 100. I used a Sony a7rV, FE 24-70mm. The colors are magnificent and needed no help. I did use LR mask options to lighten the gentlemen so the could pop from the photo. I cropped in to have them engulfed in their colorful merchandise.
