I was out trying to get a sunset shot. Too cloudy, so that was a bust. On my way back home, just a block away from where I live, two cats were having a very heated "discussion" on the top of a stairway. Eventually this grey cat decided to agree to disagree with his interlocutor - an orange cat, that is a bit of a neighbourhood boss - and disengaged from the quite vocal back and forth. In so doing, he came up to me and got a few scritches behind the ears and a few attaboys for his very mature conflict resolution.

Photo taken in July, with an EOS R100 and the plastic-fantastic 50mm F1.8 from Canon. Very little editing - mostly just enhancing the eyes. I've titled it "Almost Black and White".
