I photograph - and along with my wife - write for Cabo Living Magazine. The editor sent us to La Paz, Baja, Mexico to do an article about Lucha Libre - Mexican Wrestling. There was a big multi-match scheduled for the end of August - hot! - featuring Luchadors and Luchadoras from La Paz and the mainland and we couldn't wait to get there. I shot the matches with two Nikon Z8's, mounted with an F-mount 24-70mm and an F-mount 70-200mm with FTZ adapters. Most of the time, I was shooting wide-open at 1/800th at ISO 12,800. I developed all images in Lightroom Classic and applied minimal noise reduction in Topaz. In over 17 years with the magazine, the article was, perhaps, our favorite!
