While walking the streets of Gdansk I found a shrub full of bees. I have always wanted a “bee portrait” so I patiently took photos for the better part of an hour trying to capture them going about their busy pollinating activities. They were quite active and very hard to get focus perfect. Finally, after hundreds of failed attempts, this bee struck the perfect pose just long enough for me to capture the moment.. there was nothing special or picturesque about this location.. just patience, a bee, and a plant.
