While out fishing off of Long Island, I looked down into the water and saw this circle of kelp floating in the rippled water. Soon after I took it, the circular formation of the kelp was gone, so I was happy I saw it when I did. Converting it to black and white and adjusting the contrast and sharpening the image brought out the details of the water ripples. It becomes an abstract design as a whole and would complement a contemporary home's decor when printed and framed. Nikon Coolpix P900, 46.4mm, 1/125sec, f/4.5, 100ISO.
