I'm a huge fan of textures, so this old boat at Morro Bay, CA, with the decaying life ring, old shoes, and peeling paint really spoke to me. I had to lean very far over a railing on a pier to get the angle I wanted, then I converted it to black and white in Photoshop and adjusted the contrast. Nikon D90, 185mm, 1/400sec, f/16, 400ISO. Printed, it would be a great addition to a seafood restaurant or marine supply store.
