Taken in eastern North Dakota in June of 2025. Moments before a powerful tornado would touchdown. I'm sitting on an exit ramp of the interstate to get a view of this storm that I am chasing. Getting out ahead of the storm more allowed for this pretty amazing view of the overall storm structure. Shot on an old Nikon film camera using Portra 400. I completely forgot I even had this shot until I developed and scanned the photos about a week later.
