I just love the way this photo shows scale and how recording the image hardly ever compares to being there in person. The tiny Eiffel Tower on the cell phone screen and the majestic grandeur of the actual Eiffel Tower...ironically this is a recording of the landmark too.
The composition is pleasing and the reduction of color enhances the mood.
When traveling I no longer bring tons of heavy camera equipment but now prefer to bring a Sony rx100 and Sony rx10. Both with a 20mb 1" sensor and Zeiss optics give me a nice compromise of lightweight gear and good image quality.
