Nikon D850 with Tamron 100-400mm lens at 400mm, 1/800 sec at f6.3. I was taking photos of a friend of mine (he's about 6' 5" tall) surfing when I caught him incredibly crotched down on his long board in this tube. I decided to convert to black and white to achieve this high contrast effect, kind of highlighting all the foam. The v-shaped part of the wave either spitting him out or him trying to escape its' clutches.
