This photograph was taken in December last year at Leifeng Pagoda near West Lake in Hangzhou, China. While walking around the lake, I noticed the pagoda naturally framed in perfect symmetry by tree branches filled with autumn leaves. I composed the scene to emphasize this balance between architecture and nature.

The image was captured on 35mm film using a Nikomat FTN paired with a Nikkor 17–35mm f/2.8D lens, and shot on Lucky Color C200 film.
