Took this photo in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Maybe something illicit going on? The man looking out one way and the woman in the mural looking the other?

The problem I see is that all the visual cues are driving the viewer AWAY from the main subject. The mural on the wall guides the viewers eye to the right end of the frame where nothing is going on. The guy in the blue shirt at the bottom is looking to the left of the frame, which makes the viewer's eyes go towards the cart.

Then there's the thick tree at the top of the frame that weighs the image down and causes the viewer to go directly to the hot spot on the ground. You also have a hot spot at the top with the cell tower and sky.

There's no flow or direction to the image, so it feels disjointed and scattered. The mural is great, so I would suggest moving to your left and using her gaze to point towards something going on in front of that wall. Basically, go back there and set up, then wait for something to happen.

Thank you Ed for your feedback, i truly appreciate it. When i look at it now, i have to agree with you. Your comments have givin me a lot to think about.
