This has been a very popular image and one that was taken a few years ago now, but still remains as one of my top five images. I’ve been following deer for many years now, with an emphasis on filming the annual rut, as well as capturing unique behaviour.
This image was part of a series on the same day. The rain created a deeper looking colour on their coats and slowed their pace throughout the forest, as well the little droplets you see from them reaching up for food. I was lucky enough to sell out of limited prints for this series of images.
