Unlike my other stag image I entered, this was taken in the sunset light during the summer months. It’s still at the stage where the stags have that furry look to their antlers before they shed.
Joining three other stags, this one was the most active whilst the other sat and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. I really wanted a backlit image (or as close to as possible) to rim light the deer, which I think this one achieved.
