This image was a spur of the moment shot. I was at the beach with family. One night out on the deck I saw this scene coming together. My brother pulled out a cigar and I could see the smoke emanating out. I grabbed my camera and a speedlight to throw something together. I had him take a long drag and blow a lot of smoke out. I wanted to get the orange tip showing heat and a nice outline. I feel like it kind of works considering I only took a few shots.
