I wanted to start a new series of cocktail images and was inspired by a couple books from Death and Company. I shot the image with a 5DIV with EF100L Macro and lit with a Profoto 7b with a Mola reflector attached. I shot tethered to C1 and adjusted contrast, color and saturation before sending it into Photoshop. Once there, I corrected for the camera/lens defects, got rid of the scratches on the table surface and sharpened the image.
