I shot it using my Canon 7D. For the past few years, I've approached strangers at the beach and asked if they'd like a free 10 minute photoshoot. These two starstruck lovers, Gabriel and Julia, were smitten with each other and happy to oblige for a few shots. This is overlooking a barge in Weymouth, Mass., with the sunsetting just west of the Boston skyline. This shot is only possible when high tide coincides with the sunset, as the barge otherwise sits nestled on the sand in a 45 degree slope. I had to get in the water and keep my arms high to get close enough to take it.
