"Missed it"
Sometimes the trick is perfect. Just the handle has other plans.
This shot was taken a few years back during a World Tour stop in Cologne, Germany, catching a wakeboarder right in that split second after losing the handle mid-spin. You can almost read the disappointment on his face—which, honestly, might be my favourite part of the shot.
I kept the editing pretty light: a touch of brightness, contrast, highlights, white balance and saturation.
Shot on a Canon 6D Mark II with a borrowed 150–600mm lens.
A long lens, a fast moment, and one very unfortunate release.
