ASUS has announced the latest configuration of its flagship ProArt P16 laptop, aimed at creative professionals who need both portability and workstation-class performance. Performance for Creators

The ProArt P16 targets professionals handling demanding media workflows. For video editors, the inclusion of 24 GB VRAM and hardware-accelerated 10-bit 4:2:2 encoding and decoding makes high-resolution, multi-track editing possible on the go. AI acceleration from both AMD’s NPU and NVIDIA’s RTX platform boosts productivity for effects, transcription, and scene detection.

The Lumina Pro OLED display offers factory-calibrated accuracy and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring color-critical work can be trusted across different mediums. High brightness and contrast, along with certifications for HDR standards, mean the laptop can handle both outdoor editing and studio finishing.

ASUS is also emphasizing AI-assisted creative tools. Its StoryCube app helps manage and categorize media assets, while MuseTree generates images from text prompts, leveraging the RTX 5090 GPU for faster local performance.

The laptop’s 0.59-inch thickness and 4.3 lb weight make it portable for travel, while still housing workstation-level components. It has been tested to military-grade durability standards and includes a wide range of I/O options, making it practical for both on-location shoots and studio workflows.
