Since the launch of the EOS R5 and the EOS R6 Canon has been releasing a lot of new RF glass. Everything from compact consumer lenses to true professional workhorses. One of the most requested Canon RF lenses was an L-series 35mm lens.
Canon Rumors is reporting that Canon is planning to release an RF 35mm f/1.2 lens this year. While this comes as no surprise for many photographers, this is good news for many portrait and fashion shooters who often are working with that focal length. For decades 35mm has been regarded as the perfect full-body shot focal length. The lens is rumored to be delayed until Q4 of 2021 due to COVID-19 with some speculating if it will be released alongside the EOS R3. It is important to say that Canon's RF glass was deemed to be some of the finest available with many praising it for sharpness and build quality. There are no rumors on the price just yet, however, I would speculate it to be around $2,000 which is $200 less than the EF 35mm f/1.4.
With f/1.2 coming to Canon's latest lens, it is only natural to ask if they are planning more f/1.2 primes? And if yes, which ones? Let me know down in the comments!

Just take f1.2 RF I don't think they planing to release f1.4 RF any time soon
Since the r5 and r6 im really getting interestid in canon...and theeeen they excluded clog2 to protect their cinema-Line again...but still, i like what they are doing for photography...i dont quite get the 1.2 glass tho. Its HYPERexpensive (even tho i propably could afford it someday, 2k+ For each glass is just way above my pain threshold). Also more importantly, if im carrying this gear all day, size, weight and handling ARE huge factors. To me 1.4 looks 99% identical. I much prefer Sonys approach with its 35mm 1.4. Very tiny, superb IQ, superlight and compact, Prize much under 2k. I would really like it if cannon offered some nice 1.4 primes that are smaller, lighter an less expensive...i mean, 1.2 is cool, but i can almost never tell the difference. I DO see 1.8 to 1.4 weirdly, but 1.2 seems unnecessary...
