Think Tank Announces New Apple-Centric Bags for Laptops and Tablets

Think Tank announced a new bag and accessory case today that focus specifically on jiving with your favorite Apple products. The "My 2nd Brain" bag comes in three sizes for iPads and the different sized laptops, while the PowerHouse is an accessory bag to keep cords and whatnot in place. It's an interesting direction for the camera bag maker, to say the least.

is it just me or does the video focus more on the Apple products than the bag itself? No idea what inside the bag looks like.....why did the bags look stuck to the table??

Totally agree. Worst ad ever. And why is there a sticky note reminder about an appointment when there's all these Apple products with reminders, calendars, etc?

Noted :D

looks like thinktank people are much better at making bags than pictures or video!

ps: got a shapeshifter, actually two since my first one has been stolen with all my gear few months ago in paris, and it is more than enough for my day to day need of carrying around my laptop and its accessories. just when I need it, I unzip it and then it can be filled with every piece of photo equipment you can think of.

Haha yes, well, it is the first time we've had someone that is an actual actor on the couch, so to speak... Tell us more, what would you like to see? (Keeping in mind that we posted two videos, this 'ad' video and the product video at the same time) --S

I think we would like to see and probably would hope to feel why these bags are the one for us. is it because we own shiny gadgets, or because the bag actually has something on its own to offer? just saying : )

I can't tell how I appreciate your products, thou, my shapeshifter is the perfect bag for me.

I can't decide if this is brilliant marketing for targeting Apple users, or horrible marketing for excluding the 90%+ users that use PC's?....

Is there any reason they couldn't have marketed these as "Laptop Bags" instead of being Brand Specific?

Hey Rob, we already make generic laptop bags - so this is just another bag that happens to have some different branding and is Apple size specific.. I'm carrying a Sony Xperia Z tab in mine... *looks for lightning stroke*

Simon @ thinkTank

Ah, well then, Brilliant, hopefully you are charging 37% more for the Apple branded bags......that customer base is use to higher prices :) j/k ...not really

Hah... you're WELCOME to pay more, but you know I'll just buy coffee with it! How were the prices on the iPhone launch earlier.. eek!

These guys are a bit different, the cables fit nicely, the power packs fit in their little pockets...

had no idea they launched another one....... i bet they are nice, all your stuff is VERY well made..have a great night

Apple. P.T. Barnum approves...

Thanks for the post, Jaron. As you prob know, we have our Artificial Intelligence line, too, which is laptop bags but not Apple size specific... There's nothing to stop anyone using a non-Apple product with the My 2ND Brain gear of course... The extra pockets and places to keep stuff may appeal to some.. I'm a big fan of the inclusion of a headphone hanger, I use the Denon AH-D600 cans, so sticking them IN a small bag isn't ideal, hanging them off the strap works well. Happy to answer any questions -- simon at thinktankphoto dot com.
