This ongoing documentary project, produced under the auspices of UNESCO Italy and the Gra.ma.s association, delves into the heart of one of Italy's most breathtaking living traditions: the transportation of the Macchina di Santa Rosa in Viterbo.

While the machine itself is a marvel of art and engineering, my focus is intentionally on the Facchini—the 113 men who become its literal foundation. This reportage is an intimate portrait of raw humanity, exploring the intersection of immense physical burden, profound spiritual faith, and unbreakable community bonds.
