Neverland

Harry and I came across this chalk-art Thursday afternoon. We thought it looked like the aerial view of Neverland from the movie "Hook."

The panorama is actually multiple images stitched together, which was necessitated by my only having a telephoto lens with me, and this more-or-less represents the aspect ratio of the original image. The narrower image is cropped to achieve a 2x3 aspect ratio.

Harry is not certain which he prefers. What about you?

The first one tickles my fancy!

I call that the CinemaScope version. The other one is the Pan 'n' Scan version.

I have to agree with Ruth - the first 'feels' right and tells more of the story.

Hey, keep shooting these Andrew. I think once w all get through this I could see you posting a series or printing as a documentary of this moment in time.

As long as Harry wants to go for his daily walk (not likely to ever stop) and the weather is good enough for the chalk artists to create, I will continue documenting them.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
