Light in the Dark

Shot this using natural light in my lounge room controlled by directing vertical blinds to the angles I wanted. The fill light is the sun bouncing off closed blinds on the other side

Shot using my Sony A99ii and Minolta 80-200 APO lens @180mm, F2.8, 1/320th, ISO250. Edited in Lightroom.

It's a bit tongue in cheek yet very relatable to current times.

Hi Craig! Being cooped up in the house is really tough isn't it! This is fun. I like the shapes and textures - and the subject is great - I'd love to see it in real life! 😁

There is a lot of red in this image that I might suggest dropping out. And while seeing if that worked (see below) I converted to black and white. It looked good in case you want to check that out.

I hope you post more!

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
